〜Hasselback Tomato Made with Sio-Kouji〜



(This is a Swedish national dish with many cuts)













*Tomato 2pc

*Garlic 1clove(Grate or mince)

*Olive oil or Rice oil(2 tablespoon)

*Fennel(1/2 teaspoon)

*Oregano(1/2 teaspoon)

*Pepper(a little)



◎start heating an oven or toaster◎







1.Cut the tomato in half......

Be careful not to cut it off and make a deep cut to let the flavor sink in easily☆






2.Line a heat-resistant plate with oil (1 table spoon) and arrange the tomatoes


3.Sio-Kouji(1 tablespoon),Olive oil or Rice oil(1 tablespoon),Fennel(1/2 teaspoon),Oregano(1/2 teaspoon),Pepper(a little)=Mix these together


4.Pour the mixture above on the tomato


5.Bake it for around 20 minutes in a 180 degree oven or toaster oven until the tomato softens



◎Add spices and herbs to taste

◎You can add more herbs after baking

◎It is delicious if you dip the bread in the oil on the finished plate!!!








It is the most fun to make and eat by yourself★☆
